Poster Arcade: This Week’s Concerts (05.14.2012)
Poster Arcade, Poster Arcade: This Week's Concerts — By foundwaves on May 15, 2012 1:21 pm
Concert posters have long been a feature of popular music, from limited edition silkscreen prints to photo-copied b&w punk rock posters. Pasted on abandoned buildings, stapled to telephone poles, and taped to teenager’s walls, posters have become a part of our cultural visual landscape, influencing modern design and becoming iconic in their own right.
As part of the new Poster Arcade Series, Foundwaves is posting official concerts posters for some of each week’s concerts. Bands with posters to add can send them to press@foundwaves.com.
